The Houston Landing is a nonprofit organization that depends on your support. Your tax-deductible donation funds quality journalism that makes an impact.
Want to make a one-time donation?
Recurring memberships help us plan, but we know they’re not for everyone. If you’d rather show your support with a one-time payment, you can do that too.

Houston Landing is a part of the Houston Local Information Initiative, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and as such, donations to our organization are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law in your personal circumstances. To find out what that means for you, we recommend consulting with your tax advisor, accountant or the IRS directly. If you plan to claim this donation on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record; we will send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Supporters
We can’t survive without your support. We also can’t survive without your trust. To safeguard that trust, we developed this policy to be transparent about the sources of our funding and to clearly state that donors have no control over our news decisions.
We publicize a webpage listing the identities of donors who give a total of $5,000 or more per year. Donors who give between $999 and $4,999 a year have the option to be featured on our supporters page. If any donors who give $1,000 or more are mentioned in a news story or play a significant role in a key aspect of a story, the Landing will disclose their support at the end of the article.
We know some donors prefer to give gifts anonymously. To avoid concealing the identities of any donors mentioned in news stories, we do not accept anonymous donations. If you have any questions about how we handle donations, please contact us.
